Electrician: Role and Responsibilities

LCM Environmental Services LTD are looking for experienced Electrician to be part of a growing division within a nationwide company. Working within a commercial and industrial environment, you will form a critical part to projects, supporting the electrical team. You will meet the company standards, and industry specifications, providing a 5*customer service.

• Electrical Duties
o Surveying sites with electrical systems that are installed
o Ensuring that electrical systems adhere to the national electrical safety standards and
regulations
o Completing work orders and recording materials that are used on the job
o Identifying problems and repairing them
o Installing, maintaining, modifying and repairing all electrical systems in public spaces and buildings
o Advising the company’s management when to replace aged electrical equipment to prevent hazards
o Conducting general electrical systems maintenance and troubleshooting electrical issues with testing equipment

The above list of duties is non-exhaustive and additional duties may be requested by your line manager.

• Qualifications and education requirements:
o Electrician qualified to C&G 2367 or 2357 (Electrical Installation) and NVQ level 3 in Electrical Installations or equivalent with at least three years’ experience working as an electrician
o Qualified to C&G 2391 – Electrical inspection and testing
o IT Literate
o Active listener
o Decision making
o Interpersonal communication
