LCM Head Quarters (HQ) Solar System
The Task
LCM Environmental, a company focused on sustainable solutions, had two main goals:
- To significantly lower their electricity costs.
- To boost their environmental efforts.
A big reason for their energy use came from seven electric vehicle (EV) chargers at their Burnley headquarters, which are used daily. Seeing this opportunity, LCM decided that installing a full solar power system was the best way to meet these important financial and environmental aims.
Scope of Works
The entire solar installation project was expertly handled by LCM’s own skilled electricians. They were responsible for carefully sourcing all the necessary solar equipment and then precisely installing it on the office HQ roof.
The powerful system includes 120 Jinko Tiger Neo 440W N-Type All Black Mono solar panels, smoothly connected with a strong Solax X3-Mega G2 40kW Three Phase Inverter. The installation took about 10 weeks. The team managed their time well, fitting the work in between their other client jobs. This flexible approach meant that LCM’s daily operations were not interrupted at all.
Outcome
The solar energy system at LCM Burnley is now fully active and providing major, real benefits. LCM is already seeing a clear drop in how much they rely on grid electricity and, as a result, a reduction in their energy bills, thanks to the substantial power they now generate themselves.
Financially, this solar system is a highly effective investment, expected to pay for itself in an impressive 2 years. This quick return on investment clearly highlights the strong financial benefits of the solar installation.
Environmentally, the system is designed to perform powerfully, with an estimated yearly generation of 38,134 kWh. On a typical day, it’s projected to produce around 108 kWh. This plentiful supply of clean, renewable energy efficiently powers the business’s daily needs and offers sustainable charging for their EV fleet.
