LCM Environmental strengthens growth with the acquisition of Octane Holding Group and Octane Draincare

We’re delighted to welcome Octane Holding Group Limited and Octane Draincare Limited into the LCM Environmental Group.

This is an exciting moment for all three businesses and one that brings together strong foundations, shared ambition, and a clear opportunity for future growth.

The acquisition strengthens LCM Environmental’s service capability and wider market presence, bringing together complementary strengths across fuel, drainage and environmental services. It also supports our wider strategy to broaden service coverage, deepen in-house capability and strengthen national delivery.

Octane brings recognised capability across fuel infrastructure, drainage and environmental services, adding further strength to the wider LCM Environmental Group’s self-delivery model and operational capacity.

As an established specialist provider, Octane also adds regional strength alongside LCM Environmental’s existing base in Lancashire, supporting broader delivery capability across environmental and critical infrastructure services.

Richard Wallace, CEO of LCM Environmental, said:

“We’re delighted to welcome Octane into LCM. The business has been built on strong foundations, with a great team and an excellent reputation. We look forward to building on that success together and supporting the next phase of growth.”

Richard Sykes and Jason Unsworth, founders of Octane, said:

“We’re incredibly proud of what we’ve built with Octane and the team behind it. LCM is the right partner to take the business forward, and we’re confident it will continue to grow and succeed under their ownership.”

The acquisition forms part of LCM Environmental’s wider growth strategy and further strengthens the LCM Environmental Group as it continues to expand its capabilities across the UK and Ireland.

We’re looking forward to building on what is already in place, supporting the team, and taking the next step together.

LCM Environmental was advised by Clarion Solicitors and Interpath on the buy side, with funding support from Barclays Corporate. The shareholders of Octane were advised by Castle Square Corporate Finance and Gateley PLC on the sell side.

Here’s to the future.
